conlanging (from the word conlang - constructed language) is the process of creating languages with a specific goal beyond immediate communication. for instance: there are conlangs made as attempts to create a universal language (like Esperanto), conlangs made to give depth to fictional worlds (like Na'vi), conlangs made as philosophical experiments (like toki-pona), etc. i haven't made that many languages yet, but i like reading about them and playing with them for my worldbuilding projects.
my conlangs:
Mencprekenn (AFORA)
Chrono-iridian (Dhegom) [WIP]

introductions:
- Artifexian's conlanging videos (playlist)
- Biblaridion's "How to make a language" (playlist)
- "How NOT to make a language" (vídeo) is one of the most enlightning things i've watched so far, not only on conlanging, but on artistics creation in general.
phonology:
- Index Diachronica (website) lists an enormous ammount of sound changes in various languages.
